In accordance with Blavatsky’s understanding of human creation on Earth, there were five civilizations/races. Terms “civilization” and “race” are used synonymously, and are of much broader meaning than our common meaning.
Namely, Blavatsky used both terms to mark the whole human population on Earth in a certain period as different to all previous and following humans (races/civilizations).
