Seven barges carrying the steel structure for the new bridge over the Sava have arrived in Belgrade, and the unloading of the first parts at the construction site near Branko’s Bridge has already begun.
The barges departed three months ago from Jiangsu Province in China, from the CSCEC factory where the new bridge is being built. This shipment delivered more than 50 percent of the steel structure for the bridge, which will have a total weight of 6,500 tons. "Soon we will all be able to see the outlines of this new symbol of Belgrade.
