Fewer building permits: Most of the construction is done in Belgrade and on the Zlatibor Mountain

A total of 2,187 building permits were issued in June of this year, which is 9.7 percent less than in the same period of the previous year, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia announced.
Of the total number of permits issued in June, 78.1 percent refer to building permits and 21.9 percent to other structures. If only buildings are taken into consideration, 79 percent of permits were issued for residential and 21 percent for non-residential buildings, while other construction permits are mostly related to pipelines, communication and power lines (75.4 percent).
